What is a Mini-Me?
The trend with today's clear water spinnerbaits is compact baits. Compact spinnerbaits allow you to fish blades much deeper and much faster than traditional spinnerbaits. This techniques is very important for triggering off shore, clear water fish.
The Mini-Me from SOB Lures is just that. The Mini-Me is actually a compact, hidden weight spinnerbait. This allows for a much smaller profile bait that can be produced with smaller blades. The smaller blades offer less lift which will allow the bait to be run much faster without rising to the surface with no rolling.
One of the most important steps for fishing clear water impoundments is keeping away from the fish. The compact size bait with smaller willow leaf blades, will not helicopter in the wind which allows for longer, more accurate casting.
