Bassmaster Southern Tour - Lake Lanier - September 7th-9th
See story here:
Congratulations to Ryan for winning the Bassmaster Southern Tour event on Lake Lanier, September 7th-9th. This is Ryan's first national win and it came on his home lake. Ryan weighed in one of the only two, tournament limits of fish that weighed 36.5 pounds. Ryan overcame tough lake conditions and a very strong field of professional fishermen and local anglers to pull off the win.
Day three - Still working
Big fish on light line in the trees. No fun !!!
Fishing in a crowd on Saturday . What a blast !!!
Coming in on Day three. Talking with the people who helped make it happen. Tim Farley, Chris Dunn and my wife, Sherri.
My tournament partner and good friend, Lee Hartley with his impressive 6th place finish. Great job bro!!!
Trent Gober with his 3rd place finish. The hardest spot fisherman to beat on Lanier. Awesome job and thanks for slipping on day 3.
Matt Wilbanks pounded through three days with consistent catches to capture 2nd. Glad the largemouth's were not biting.
Part of Friday's big catch of 18-6. All spotted bass.
Thank God its over !!! I don't think I could have taken another day.
Now the whole family can calm down.
A few pictures and interview with Bassmaster outdoor writer, Steve Price. He looked a little surprised when I told him how deep we were fishing. |
