Another trip to Lake Erie this year. Chris Dunn, Donnie Sims and myself loaded up in mid May and headed to Dunkirk New York to meet up with some old friends and do some smallmouth fishing. Once again, Erie did not disappoint us. We fished five full days. Four of them were on Erie and one was on another small lake inside of New York. We had a blast and averaged 50 or so fish per day on Jerkbaits, spoons and jighead worms. Chris had the big fish with a 6-4 monster. We had numerous other 5 pound smallmouths and 4 pounders were normal.
