In May of 2004, I made a trip up to Lake Erie with a bunch of Internet friends. Some of the guys were from Canada, some from Georgia and a others were from mixed northern states. We fished a total of three full days and had a great time. We flew into Buffalo NY and fished out of Dunkirk NY. As you can see below, fishing was unreal. Like nothing I have ever experienced. We were boating 150-200 smallmouth per day with the average size being 2.75-3.00 pounds each. Each day, our boat would land 5 or more 5 pound plus smallmouth. We used techniques from jerkbaits, tubes, jighead worms, jigging spoons and even drop shot. Each day the fishing was different. Its truly a trip of a lifetime. I highly recommend it.
